What is a snow foam & citrus pre wash?
Citrus pre-washes and snow foams are used to breakdown road grime before contacting washing the car.
Here's how to use a pre wash and snow foam:
1. Start by Rinsing down the paint, removing the worst of the road grime
2. We will be using our Zest gel pre wash and a pump sprayer
3. Fill the pump sprayer to with water add in around 20ml of product
4. Apply to the lower areas of the car, especially around sills and lower doors
5. Don’t forget the lower bumper too!
Pro tip* What is unique about zest pre wash is its gel base. Designed to stick to the paint allowing more dwell time, resulting is better cleaning without the use of caustic chemicals
6. Next we will layer zest with our Baltic snow foam
7. Diluted at 10:1 Baltic will sit on top of Zest increasing its dwell time and effectiveness
Pro tip* Baltic and zest are designed to work together, allowing you to adjust the strength of cleaning power all through dilution
8. After allowing to dwell for 5 or so minutes we can begin rinsing down the vehicle!
9. Using our 25-degree nozzle I like to rinse bottom up
Pro tip* Zest and Baltic wont affect existing wax and sealant layers, instead giving a near dirt free surface for contact washing.
10. You can now move onto contact washing your paint!
